Shukie

Shukie is a London-based DJ and producer with a long-standing presence in the UK’s house music scene. Over the years, he’s played at landmark venues like Shelter in New York, Wild Pitch, Nell’s, and Ministry of Sound, and is currently a regular at the BBE Store in East London. During the pandemic, he was instrumental in helping to grow the online radio platform Universal Rhythms. His sets blend classic and contemporary sounds, shaped by a deep appreciation for soulful, percussive music and a strong connection to the dancefloor.

As a producer and remixer, Shukie’s work reflects the same thoughtful approach found in his DJ sets. He’s released on labels like Element Recordings, Rekawa Sound, and Kyo Recordings, and has collaborated with a range of UK artists as well as international names including Joe Claussell and Ron Trent. With strong ties across London’s musical community, Shukie continues to contribute through both performance and production.
