Novakane Omega is a Norfolk, Virginia-based vocalist, producer, DJ, and emcee with a music career spanning three decades. Her work is distinguished by a sultry vocal style and lyrical depth that seamlessly blend elements of house, hip-hop, and soul.
As one half of the emcee duo The Rubber Peeple, an offshoot of the Jhunippuz Elite Poetry Organization, she has been a pivotal figure in underground music scenes. Beyond music, Novakane Omega is a dedicated educator and cultural advocate, co-founder of Soul Trust Records.
