Lost in the Rhythm Vol. 1

Introducing the first vinyl release on the Lost in the Rhythm record label. A community-first initiative curated by London DJ, promoter, and creative Rob Coley AKA RevolutionsLDN, this imprint blends the authenticity of timeless, deep, and soulful rhythms with contemporary beats crafted by some of the world’s best-established and emerging producers.

We open this first volume with a mesmerising original jam from Portland’s Floyd Vader (Yoruba Records/Seed Recordings). Floyd, a house/dance music DJ, producer, musician and dancer, showcases his masterful musicality and deep connection to the Afro-Latin diaspora with a soulful and deep melodic dance track primed for the more adventurous dancefloor.

Next, London stalwart Shukie (Rekawa Sound) and guitarist Clive Raven smooth out the DJ SoliD-produced track “I Like to Kiss,” reconstructing it into a warm, smooth and soulful excursion.

On the flip, Mikekon’s redub of “It’s Yours” featuring Novakane Omega, and Guerilla Science close things out with the “Yes Mix” of “First Time.”
